Agency Director

Full-time Position

 

Family Service, Inc., a private nonprofit agency located in Columbus, Indiana, is searching for an Executive Director. The position begins September 15, 2008.  The successful candidate will have a mental health background with experience in nonprofit management.  Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director provides overall agency administration including fiscal management; program/services planning and evaluation; personnel management/administration; community relations and provides leadership to the community and to the Board of Directors. A master’s degree in the field of social services, human services and/or business is preferred; a bachelor’s degree is required.

                                                      PRN Clinical Therapist

Family Service of Bartholomew Count in in need of a MSW or BSW to provide supervised visitation services in our Columbus, Indiana office.  Experience with  providing supervised visitation services for DCS clients and families with young children preferred.  Part time, "as needed" basis for up to 19 hours a week, some evenings required.  Please send resume and three references to :

             Family Support Specialist

 

Family Service Inc. has an immediate opening in our Healthy Families program

for a Family Support Specialist.  Healthy Families is a home visitation program designed to optimize the home environment for the physical and emotional well-being of infants, children and their families.  Applicants must possess the ability to work with diverse families utilizing a strength-based approach and knowledge of childhood development and community resources.
