Our trained class facilitators are available to help participants understand and apply what they learn.

  • COMMON SENSE PARENTING is a skill-based parenting program that teaches parents practical and effective ways to increase their children’s positive behaviors, decrease negative behaviors and teach children appropriate alternative behaviors. This program is based on the Girls and Boys Town Teaching Model used with children in their residential care programs. Since its start, the program has served more than 200,000 parents around the world, consistently benefiting parents from a wide variety of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, and families with histories of child behavior problems, child abuse and neglect.
  • ANGER MANAGEMENT consists of two sessions, one for teens 14-16 and the other for adults 18 years and older. The class explores the causes of anger. The goal is to work to reduce destructive responses to anger and communicate more effectively.
