Community Wellness
Clinical Counseling Services:
The Clinical Counseling Program involves the provision of individual, marital, family and/or group therapy/counseling to address a wide range of mental health concerns. Post Master’s level therapists, all of whom have advanced licensure, skills and training in family dynamics and systems interventions, provide services within this program, including Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counseling. Counseling is an invaluable resource to families and individuals in terms of need. An individualized treatment plan identifies the strengths/weaknesses and outlines treatment goals and time frames for completion of services. To qualify for the sliding fee, a client must live or work in Bartholomew County and meet income requirements.
No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay; and there is a Discounted/Sliding Fee Scale available. Family Life Education The Comprehensive Family Life Education (FLE) program provides research-based educational curriculum in a safe classroom setting. The curriculum is designed to provide families with information and coping strategies when they are experiencing problems with parenting, going through divorce, or with anger issues in the home, school, and workplace. Our trained class facilitators are available to help participants understand and apply what they learn. To register for classes or inquire about scheduling a community presentation for your organization, please call 812-372-3745.
Fee-for-Service Presentations/Workshops Our professional staff is also available, on a fee-for-service basis, to provide educational programs to community groups, business and professionals. These programs can be individually designed and address issues such as parenting, problem-solving, communication, self-esteem and step/blended families. Social Service Consultation: Working under specific contractual agreements, Social Service Consultation provides consulting services to individuals and organizations. Businesses, churches, schools, and daycare facilities are just a few of the organizations referring to the Social Service Consultation program. Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) are also available. Family Service is an invaluable resource to families in times of strain and stress. In these uncertain times, Family Service is faced with unique challenges as an agency. The need for our services is growing, as families struggle with economic and emotional stress brought about by what is going on in the world around us. From marriage and divorce issues, to depression and anxiety, to parenting and personal growth issues, the needs are there and they are ever-growing. |
